Climate Change Response Policy

SK Ecoengineering recognizes that responding to climate change is essential for achieving our ESG vision of being a "Tech Solution Provider for a Sustainable Future" and fulfilling our ESG management principle of "Pursuing a Low-Carbon Future," dedicating focused efforts to this priority.
Since separating from SK Ecoplant in 2022, SK Ecoengineering has focused on establishing a GHG management system as the foundation for our climate change response. We continue to enhance this system while developing and implementing comprehensive strategies.

GHG Management System Establishment

SK Ecoengineering established a management system for Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions at our domestic sites in 2022. By 2023, the management scope expanded to include all sites, including headquarters and overseas operations.
In 2024, we focused on reviewing Scope 3 emission sources and measurement methods and established plans for a comprehensive monitoring and management system encompassing the entire value chain, including Scope 3 emissions.
Additionally, to strengthen leadership in GHG management, the development of a Scope 3 inventory was incorporated into the CEO's 2024 key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring dedicated efforts in this area.
